Summer of Brave

Twelve-year-old Lilla Baxter-Willoughby says she does not lie, though she is selective about what she tells people. When Vivi dares her to tell the truth during their “Summer of Brave,” Lilla hesitates because voicing what she wants could disrupt her life. Lilla has long followed the wishes of her divorced parents, who compete and argue while holding different plans for her future. She must consider how to choose a path of her own.
