Stone River Crossing

A river crossing brings danger as well as the possibility of freedom and friendship. Across a creek that separates a Mississippi plantation from a Choctaw settlement, friendship and cooperation are forbidden. Yet working together may be necessary to save lives. The story follows connections across that boundary and spans multiple generations, placing its conflict between a plantation community and a Choctaw settlement.
