Still Life with Tornado

Sarah is a sixteen-year-old art student who suddenly cannot draw. Her loss of artistic ability occurs alongside questions about something she saw in class, her parents’ deteriorating relationship, and the departure of her brother six years earlier. The story follows Sarah as she confronts the brokenness in her family. Her experience connects art, a changed sense of self, unresolved family tensions, and the absence left by her brother.
