Stepping Stones: A Refugee Family’s Journey

Rama’s family must leave the village where they had lived peacefully as civil war draws closer. Carrying only what they can manage, Rama travels with her mother, father, grandfather, and brother Sami in search of a home in Europe. The story follows the family’s flight from a place marked by war and their effort to reach safety together. Photographs of stone artwork accompany the narrative, which appears in both English and Arabic.
