Aurelie is a practical baker’s apprentice who values the stability of her work. She keeps her ambitions contained until a stranger gives her a set of Seeking stones. Aurelie is then recruited because of her Seeking abilities to locate Elias Allred. The task raises an unanswered question about what will happen if she succeeds, shifting her from the dependable routine she prefers into a search with uncertain consequences.
