Soar

Eddie, a seventh grader, wants to honor his father’s memory by winning his school’s science competition. His goal depends on demonstrating that his father really saw a giant golden eagle, even though other people did not believe the sighting. Eddie learned about birdwatching from his dad, including the story of the eagle near Miss Dorothy’s pond. His effort combines a science project with a search tied to his father’s legacy.
