Snow & Rose

Snow and Rose live with their mother in a small cottage after their nobleman father disappears. Snow continues to hope for his return and is often volatile in her grief, while Rose finds comfort in the natural world. In the woods, the sisters meet Ivo, whose family gathers mushrooms underground; encounter a library made from random objects; and rescue a little man. They face ominous oversized animals, including a trapped bear they free despite their fear. The story is spun from the Grimm tale “Snow White and Rose Red.”
