Self-Made Boys: A Great Gatsby Remix

Set amid the glamour and decadence of the 1920s, this Great Gatsby remix follows Latinx, poor, and transgender young people as they seek a secure sense of self. Nicolás Caraveo is a seventeen-year-old transgender boy from Wisconsin who has little interest in the city’s glamour. The characters encounter classism, racism, and sexism while pursuing happiness through being true to themselves.
