Scar: A Revolutionary War Tale

Sixteen-year-old Noah Daniels longs to join George Washington’s Continental Army, but an injury from childhood has left him unable to enlist. During the Revolutionary War, Noah, a White teenager, and a Native American boy serve on opposing sides. Both are wounded, and they encounter the violence and suffering of war together. Their experiences bring disability, conflict, and the human cost of warfare into the novel’s account of the Revolution.
