Running Full Tilt

Caleb runs in an effort to get away from the increasingly unpredictable behavior of his autistic brother. He is also adjusting to a new school, where he considers joining the cross-country team. The novel concerns Caleb's relationship with his brother as well as the brother's experience of autism. Running gives Caleb a way to confront conflicts he is trying to escape.
