RITU WEDS CHANDNI

Ayesha, a young cousin, tells of Ritu’s wedding to her girlfriend Chandni. She looks forward to dancing during the baraat, a traditional wedding procession. Members of the community object to the couple’s marriage and interrupt the celebration, with some determined to stop it altogether. Ayesha responds when the wedding is disrupted.
