Right as Rain

Almost a year after Rain’s brother Guthrie dies, she keeps secret what she believes was her responsibility for his death. When her mother suggests leaving Vermont for New York City, Rain agrees, but the city leaves her feeling like an outsider. Her parents argue more often as the anniversary approaches. New friends, each with their own stories, begin to lessen her isolation.
