Rescued

When John is ten, his father brings home a baby orangutan from Indonesia. Raja becomes like a brother to John, who takes responsibility for him while he grows up in the family’s home. Years later, after John’s parents divorce, his father sells Raja to a roadside zoo. John then sets out to rescue Raja and take him to a sanctuary in Indonesia, with the goal of returning him to the wild.
