Radioactive! blends history and science in a chapter-book account of two physicists whose work is often overlooked. It begins with Marie Sklodowska, age twenty-four, leaving Warsaw for Paris in 1891. There she works in Pierre Curie’s laboratory, where his research concerns heat and magnetism. The book traces the work and contributions of these important scientists across science and history.
