Pencil: A Story with a Point

Pencil and Jackson once spend their time drawing, sketching, and scribbling together. When Jackson gets a tablet with videos, games, and movies, Pencil is put away in the junk drawer and feels unable to compete. There, Pencil joins other discarded objects in making a case for creating things by hand. The story sets a familiar drawing tool against a new device while focusing on Pencil’s loss, the junk-drawer community, and hands-on creative work.
