Pablo Finds a Treasure

Pablo and his sister spend their days scavenging at a local dump called Treasure Mountain, seeking things their mother can sell for food. Among the rubbish, they sometimes discover edible food or a picture book, which delights Pablo even though he cannot read. Their exhausting work brings little money, and Filthy-Face, a bully, steals other children’s finds. Pablo uses his cleverness as he and his sister confront thugs.
