Over and Under the Waves

This book explores an ocean kelp forest from the bright bay above the surface to the habitat beneath the waves. Above, sea lions and seagulls are active; below, the kelp shelters whales, wolf eels, sardines, sea bass, leopard sharks, luminous jellies, and other creatures. The book focuses on the forest’s hidden community of animals and the kelp that provides them shelter.
