ON THE HORIZON: WORLD WAR II REFLECTIONS

Lois Lowry draws on childhood memories connected to Hawai‘i and Japan to reflect on World War II. A tricycle, a damaged watch, and one thousand paper cranes lead to people whose lives were connected to Pearl Harbor, Hiroshima, and Nagasaki.
