Brian is a twenty-something local reporter working on the Niagara Cascade’s City Desk and the only Indigenous writer in the newsroom. After a violent assault on the Tuscarora reservation, he looks back on his family connections and cultural relationships while investigating what truly happened. His work has also placed him on stereotypical stories. Greyscale illustrations accompany this account of violence, reporting, family, and Indigenous cultural ties.
