Mr. Mintz’s Blintzes

Each spring, Mr. Mintz makes blintzes and shares them with friends in his neighborhood for Shavuot. When he is injured and cannot prepare the familiar food, his neighbors respond with gratitude and care. The story follows their effort to support him while keeping the holiday celebration in view. It centers on a neighborhood relationship built around cooking, sharing food, and showing affection for someone who has regularly brought people together. A recipe is included.
