Love from A to Z

Zayneb, a West Indian and Pakistani American Muslim teen, spends an extended break with her aunt in Doha after challenging a teacher’s Islamophobia. There she meets Adam, a Chinese and white Muslim student visiting from college in London. Both keep journals called Marvels and Oddities, recording their daily highs and lows. As they grow closer, Zayneb shares her activism, grief, and experiences of Islamophobia, while Adam reveals that he has been diagnosed with MS and left college to focus on art.
