Lost & Found: Based on a True Story

A young girl emigrates from China and arrives in Canada frightened by an unfamiliar language. At school, she makes an English picture dictionary in her sketchbook. Her classmates and teacher help her become accustomed to the new setting. The book is semi-autobiographical and includes a Mandarin glossary. Its lively illustrations accompany the girl’s effort to communicate and find her place in a new country.
