Lily Leads the Way

Lily is a small but sturdy sailboat in a busy harbor crowded with cargo ships, fishing vessels, and tugboats. She needs the lift bridge raised so that tall ships can pass from the harbor to the lake, but the larger boats crowd her and their louder horns drown out her own. Lily ultimately helps the cargo ships find their way through the harbor. An author’s note describes types of boats and bridges.
