Let Them Stare

Gender-nonconforming eighteen-year-old Sully expects a fashion internship to provide a way out of Hearst, Pennsylvania. When the internship disappears, Sully is left in a town they experience as bigoted, without money or a car. At a thrift store, Sully finds a valuable vintage handbag to sell. The bag is haunted by a drag performer from the 1950s who cannot remember how he died, bringing an unexpected mystery into Sully’s plans.
