Kevin and the Blackbirds

Kevin is a young boy living at a monastery after his parents send him there during lean times. Although he has been told to stay indoors, the nature-loving boy reaches from his window and befriends two blackbirds. The birds build a nest in his hands, forming an unexpected connection with him. This retelling of an old Irish tale follows a wild child described as kindhearted, with realistic gouache artwork accompanying the story.
