Jacob’s Room to Choose

Jacob is driven out of the boys’ bathroom when other students decide that his clothing makes him look like a girl. His friend Sophie is treated the same way. In response, their classmates work together to improve the situation, confronting rules and expectations around gender expression and bathroom use at school after both children have been excluded from those spaces.
