It Is a Tree

Blindfolded animals play a guessing game in which they must identify an elephant. Each animal’s answer reflects its own perspective, rather than the whole animal. The book draws on an ancient Indian fable and uses sparse text with humorous digital illustrations. Its party-game setup turns differing points of view into the central action, as the animals try to name what they are touching.
