Impossible Moon

Mable wants to help her Grana recover and dreams of traveling through the sky. On an impossible journey toward the moon, she visits stars and constellations whose stories have African origins. Grana is a storyteller, and the book links Mable’s wish to soar with family history and memory. It follows her moonward quest, her encounters among the stars, and the connection between her grandmother’s stories and the constellations she explores.
