How to Make a Wish

Grace has spent her childhood with an unpredictable mother and has largely stopped believing in wishes. A pianist in a small town, she considers building a life away from her mother. During the summer, she meets Eva, whose difficult circumstances have not erased her belief in dreams. As Eva and Grace spend time together, Eva tells Grace that she likes girls, and Grace begins to imagine happiness and a different future.
