Klein, the author of This Changes Everything and On Fire, explains the warmer temperatures, wildfires, superstorms, and rising seas that people already experience, and shows how the climate crisis came about and why it is also a question of justice. Much of the book follows the young people who are responding: the global school strikes, the island students and other activists who have taken governments to court, and the organizers building a movement for a fairer, livable future. It gives readers a look at the state of the climate today along with stories and practical tools meant to help them take part. Atheneum Books for Young Readers published the book in 2021 and this trade paperback in 2022.
