House Arrest

Twelve-year-old Timothy commits a crime while caring for his baby brother, who has a birth defect. He is placed under house arrest for a year and must report weekly to a probation officer and therapist. Timothy is required to keep a journal, which he uses to work through his problems. As his family struggles, he considers drastic actions that could make staying out of trouble harder.
