Hope at Sea: An Adventure Story

Hope wants more than stories about her father’s sea voyages: she wants to take part in them herself. Without her parents’ knowledge, she hides aboard her father’s nineteenth-century merchant ship and joins him at sea. The story follows Hope’s wish to share her sailor father’s world and the love between them, with detailed pen-and-ink artwork carrying the setting onto the water.
