This bilingual book presents the words of children held at the U.S. southern border because of their immigration status. Latinx artists provide the illustrations. Its full title identifies the book as testimonies from children detained at the border of the United States. By placing children’s accounts alongside artwork, the book documents their experiences of immigration detention at the border.
