Good Night, Wind

In this retelling of a Yiddish folktale, Winter Wind has worked through the season, clearing leaves and readying the trees for snow and ice. Tired from its work, the wind wants to rest. After being repeatedly turned away, it erupts in a snowy fit of anger. Two young children offer the exhausted wind the comfort of friendship. The story follows the wind from seasonal labor and frustration toward rest and companionship.
