Gloria’s Promise (American Ballet Theatre Presents series)

Gloria hopes to attend the American Ballet Theatre summer program and gets to know the world of ballet classes, rehearsals, costumes, and pointe shoes. At her audition, she falls before the judges and fears that her chance is gone. Gloria regains her composure and continues dancing amid the excitement, nerves, discipline, and persistence involved in pursuing ballet. Gouache and watercolor illustrations accompany her experience.
