Finding Harmony

After time in foster care, Harmony persuades a judge to let her return to live with her mother. Her mother finds an apartment, but Harmony soon feels responsible for keeping their life from falling apart when her mother makes harmful choices. Often left to manage on her own, Harmony receives food and part-time work from Mr. Khaled, who runs the nearby convenience store. At school, her principal also seems willing to support her.
