Felix Powell, Boy Dog

A thrift-shop blanket magically changes Felix, who is eight, into a dog. Felix can communicate with animals, including his dog Mary Puppins, but he must work out how to become a boy again. The story follows his unexpected transformation and his attempt to return to human form. Told in short chapters with line drawings, it combines a magical premise with animal conversation and Felix’s problem of reversing the spell.
