Hermione Winters is the captain of her small town’s cheerleading team, which is treated as a sport in its own right. At cheerleading camp before her senior year, she is drugged and raped and cannot identify who harmed her. Back home in Ontario, Hermione faces rumors, her boyfriend’s rejection, and difficult reactions from classmates while trying to remember what happened. Her family and friends are also affected as she seeks justice.
