Draw the Line

When a hate crime is committed against a fellow gay student in Adrian Piper’s small Texas town, sixteen-year-old Adrian is propelled out of the background. The attack leads him to consider his own power, its possible use, and the limits he needs to set. First through online comics and then in everyday life, Adrian begins to stand tall in response. Black-and-white graphic illustrations accompany his story.
