Devils unto Dust

In 1870s Texas, Daisy Wilcox, called Willie, has protected her siblings in Glory after a deadly infection spread through the West Texas desert a decade earlier. Those infected, known as the Shakes, attack living people and have brought destruction across the region. When Willie’s father steals money from a dangerous shake-hunter, she must find him to repay the debt. Her journey requires her to evade the Shakes while confronting the harsh desert.
