Dadaji’s Paintbrush

In a small Indian village, a boy learns to paint alongside his grandfather, using his fingers and materials such as marigolds and jasmine flowers. After his grandfather, an artist, dies, the boy stops making art as he grieves. A young girl later encourages him to return to painting. Set against a Goan village, the story follows the boy’s loss, the artistic practice he shared with Dadaji, and his gradual resumption of that practice.
