Come November

Rooney Harris is trying to get through her final year of high school, attend college, and leave her small town. Her mother’s involvement with the Next World Society, a cult whose members expect to depart Earth for a new paradise on November 17, leaves Rooney responsible for herself and her younger brother. As her mother’s beliefs and delusions intensify, Rooney must manage the practical demands of everyday life while holding her family together.
