Born Just Right

Jordan Reeves tells her story with her mother, Jen Reeves. Born without a lower arm or hand, Jordan is fourteen in the book and is an advocate for people with disabilities. She designs a glitter-shooting arm prosthesis and describes creating it. The memoir also addresses her advocacy and her experience of limb difference. Photographs and back matter accompany her account, which presents a young person’s work to speak up for disabled people while making and using an inventive prosthetic arm.
