Blue

A boy discovers Blue, a blue heron, on a summer morning and follows the bird through a day of play and exploration along their coastal home. At sundown, Blue takes flight, but later returns and carries the child through the night sky. When the cold becomes uncomfortable, the two glide back home before saying good night.
