Blight

Seventeen-year-old Tempest Torres has lived at the AgraStar farm north of Atlanta since she was found outside its gates as a child. In a dystopian future, an agribusiness controls food production and people’s ways of life. Tempest works on security, guarding the fence against people who steal genetically engineered food. After an explosion releases a blight that kills living things, she races to deliver a cure and discovers alternatives to the system around her.
