Beep! Beep! Go to Sleep!
Todd Tarpley
A young boy is kept awake by three energetic robots that keep requesting more attention. They ask for oil, tighter bolts, looser fan belts, and other adjustments instead of settling down. The boy tries to bring the noisy night to an end, and a bedtime story may finally help the robots sleep. The story uses a recurring “beep” refrain as the robots resist bedtime.
