Beatrice Zinker, Upside Down Thinker

Beatrice Zinker thinks best while upside down, whether she is hanging by her knees or doing handstands. Before third grade starts, she and her best friend Lenny agree to wear matching ninja suits. At school, Lenny arrives differently dressed and with a new friend, appearing to have forgotten their secret plan. Beatrice’s unconventional approach becomes part of her effort to repair the friendship.
