Bearmouth

Newt has lived in Bearmouth’s coal mine since age four, in a world of hard labor, isolation, and brutal overseers where daylight is not seen. Newt accepts the conditions until Devlin, a newly arrived boy, begins to question them. His questions unfold amid rising tension and violence, prompt Newt to ask why, and set in motion events that challenge the harsh Bearmouth system and threaten the world Newt has known.
