A group of senior dogs suddenly travels through time and becomes puppies. To return home, Baxter, Trevor, Newton, Titch, and Maia must assist historical dogs on their journeys. Their first adventure lands them in Alaska in 1925, where they join Balto and his sled-dog team during a diphtheria outbreak. The young dogs must help with Balto’s race to bring medicine through the wilderness while working toward their own way home.
