One morning, Baby’s older brother sets out by bicycle with a basket of bananas for Baba’s bungalow in the next village. His route passes a rough road, baobab trees, birds, butterflies, and a bridge. Unbeknownst to him, Baby has hidden on the bicycle and joins the journey. Set in a small West African village, the story follows the siblings’ trip to visit Baba and draws attention to words beginning with the letter B.
